TANAH JAMBU, FRIDAY, 12 MAY 2023 - The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held a Hari Raya Aidil Fitri celebration this afternoon which took place at the Ceremonial Hall, DA RBAF.
Present as the guest of honor was Colonel Pengiran Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusof, Commandant of DA RBAF. The celebration was attended by all members of DA RBAF military and civilians. Also invited were course participants from Command and Staff Course 13 and Officer Cadets of Intake 22. The Ceremonial Hall, was festively decorated with four different ‘Open House’ concepts by the Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO), Corporal Club, and the Officer Cadet School Intake 22 respectively.
This celebration is an annual tradition where all members of DA RBAF come together to strengthen the bonds of silaturrahim (kinship and friendship) among officers, non-commissioned officers and civilian members creating a stronger bond and more cohesive community. This year Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration holds even more significance as it is the first time in three years that DA RBAF come together to celebrate due to the challenges posed by the pandemic.
